Danish-American Well-Being Seminar
Danish-American Well-Being Seminar
A new start – Well-being in the curriculum
The well-being of young people is an area that requires particular attention in a positive light with the aim of inspiring higher education to focus on promoting the mental health aspects of learning by cultivating the sense of belonging and purpose implicit in all higher education.
The well-being seminar recognizes that education is a core task for society. The aim is to explore how educational institutions can help create the best conditions for student well-being so that students can meet and master challenges – which they all face – and find the broadest path to learning.
The seminar concludes the Ministry of Higher Education and Science and Innovation Centre Denmark's new, internationally oriented project on how to design a better student life. The project is based on knowledge and experience from elite American universities.
